Mitsubishi Diamond Series LT-46246 46-Inch 1080p LCD Flat Panel HDTV (Pearl Black) Review
In February 2008 we bought the LT46244 Mitsubishi, which was the immediate predecessor of the LT46246. LT46244 the first lasted 15 minutes and then died. It 'was replaced, and four months later, the separation panel of experts. The panel was replaced under warranty expired 12 days after the warranty period-one years, the panel replacement separately. Mitsubishi has extended the warranty for the producers of one year, but failed to get on the panel replacement. As a result, the Mitsubishi is replaceddefective LT46244 with its new model, the LT46246.
We saw a dramatic improvement in the color of the LT46246 and clarity than the previous model. As we had done previously, we set the color of "light", because the TV is used in a bright room light. Mitsubishi "normal" approach was more faded we liked, but we were dark, with this set in a bright environment, which would be defined satisfactorily. In fact, the color is so vivid, that we had two pigeonsa hummingbird and a bird fly in front of the TV box and 15 meters!
I saw television as a four-star product for several reasons. The LT46244 had an opaque screen, which produces no reflections in a lighted room, which has LT46246 screen have a slight sheen problem. However, if the panel is of better quality, are more than willing to share with a slight patina. Does not appear that Mitsubishi has improved the quality of sound.This is not an important factor for my wife and I, when both non-musical, audiophiles will probably want to buy a surround sound system for better sound quality.
One final note – we have a purchase extended warranty from local authorized Mitsubishi dealer. After the fiasco with the LT46244 are not a risk-up!
